Global Fertility Rates Dropping Rapidly

Using the annual rate of change decline of -1.396%, here are the statistics looking out into the future. These projections show a continued decline in global fertility rates:
By 2039, the rate is forecast to fall to 1.954 children per woman, dropping below the replacement level fertility rate of 2.1.
By 2050, the global TFR is projected to reach 1.83.
By 2100, it may further decline to 1.59.
The number of countries with above-replacement fertility is expected to decrease from 94 in 2021 to only 6 by 2100.
